Houthi Rebels Mourn 17 Killed in US-UK Airstrikes at Funeral in Yemen

Yemen’s Iran-backed Houthis conducted a funeral for 17 terrorists killed in US-British air strikes, the Houthi-run Saba news agency reported. The Houthis have been launching drones and missiles at commercial ships since November 19 in response to Israel’s operations in Gaza, leading to retaliatory strikes by the US and Britain. CENTCOM said its forces carried out strikes against missiles and unmanned vessels in Houthi-controlled areas of Yemen to protect ships in the Red Sea. The US and Britain have designated the Houthis as a terrorist group, and their campaign has disrupted international shipping through the Red Sea.
