IDF Targets and Strikes Hezbollah Operatives Immediately After Identification

The IDF swiftly eliminated a group of Hezbollah terrorists in Lebanon after observing them entering a compound in the Blida area. Multiple launches were observed entering northern Israel, prompting IDF soldiers to target the origins of these attacks. Artillery fire was also confirmed throughout the day, eliminating multiple threats in Lebanon.

Fighting in the North has been escalating with increased rocket fire and Israeli airstrikes. Western diplomats have called for Israel and Hezbollah to de-escalate the situation and respect UNSC Resolution 1701, which ended the 2006 Lebanon War. Diplomats are negotiating to release hostages in Gaza and prevent the war from continuing into Ramadan.

According to Reuters, Israeli shelling has killed nearly 190 Hezbollah fighters and 50 Lebanese civilians, while about a dozen IDF troops and five Israeli civilians have been killed by Hezbollah.
