Iran’s Foreign Minister Set to Visit Lebanon and Syria in the Near Future

Iran’s Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian is set to visit Lebanon and Syria to address regional issues. He is expected to be in Lebanon on Friday and Damascus early next week. Discussions will focus on Israeli attacks on Syria, the ongoing war in Gaza, and other current developments. Additionally, Iran’s Revolutionary Guards Corps has reportedly pulled back some officers from Syria following recent Israeli strikes that resulted in the deaths of senior commanders, but Iran’s ambassador to Syria maintains that Iran remains present in Syria. Since December, Israeli strikes have killed more than half a dozen members of the Guards in Syria.
