Report: 20% of Hezbollah Rockets Aimed at Israel Hit Lebanon Instead

The IDF spokesperson’s unit said that one in five rockets and missiles fired into Israel’s north by Hezbollah landed on Lebanese territory. An IDF infographic depicts the impact points of the rockets, showing that they fell short of Israel’s northern border. The spokesperson’s unit also stated that Hezbollah’s actions violate UN Security Council Resolution 1701 and put both Israeli and Lebanese civilians at risk. Hezbollah claimed responsibility for firing rockets into Israel. Israel was reportedly close to reaching a “diplomatic solution” to move Hezbollah away from the northern border.
