US Issues Warning to Houthis and Iran After Red Sea Shipping Attacks

The US warned Iran and Houthi militants of “consequences” if they continue to target Red Sea shipping routes. The US Secretary of State Antony Blinken emphasized the need for Iran to stop supporting the Houthis. He also warned of the consequences of escalating the conflict and urged the international community to respond. The British Defence Minister also expressed concern about the situation and hinted at possible further action by Britain and its international partners. The US and other countries are working to preserve the shipping routes in the region. Thousands of ships have been affected, and the global supply chain and commodity prices have been impacted. Additionally, the Houthis have seized 25 hostages during their attacks on ships. This has raised concerns about the situation in the Middle East.
